In response to a fierce demand for more opportunities to experience this magical tale, the organizational team behind this success story, SAMIT Event Group, has decided to take the production on tour, with the first stops coming on the 9th and 10th of February 2024 in the picturesque nation of Bahrain. Two days of the Ballet’s country premiere will be hosted within the framework of the annual Spring of Culture Festival in Bahrain National Theatre, built on the story of One Thousand and One Nights .
Bahrain audiences are in with the perfect chance to immerse themselves in this fantastical world, as the ballet presents its original narrative that draws on inspiration from a myriad of childhood literary classics, including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Aladdin, Puss in Boots, The Three Musketeers, and many more, with seminal characters from each of these tales appearing within the show itself.

A Thousand Tales invites audiences to travel along on a magical adventure which features a series of stunning costumes and exquisite set decorations and is brought to life by a cast of Principal Dancers that has been purposefully hand-picked from among the leading ballet companies in the world, accompanied by a Corps de Ballet hailing from the highest echelons of the contemporary ballet industry.

A Thousand Tales, a new ballet production that promises to bring your favourite childhood tales to life, will premiere at Dubai Opera for the first time on January 6 and 7, 2023.
Presenting an original narrative inspired by various childhood literary classics, including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Aladdin, and many more, A Thousand Tales boasts original choreographed routines from the celebrated Francesco Ventriglia, who is a graduate of the La Scala Ballet School, former soloist at the La Scala Theatre Ballet, and the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Sydney Choreographic Centre.
The ballet is set to music composed by the acclaimed contemporary composer Alexey Shor and is based on a new libretto written by Ventriglia himself. Audiences are invited to travel along on a magical adventure within this fantasy world, which features a series of stunning costumes and exquisite set decorations designed by the award-winning Roberta Guidi di Bagno.
Premiered by SAMIT Event Group, A Thousand Tales follows the White Rabbit from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland as he goes on a quest through the different fairy tale realms in service of the Prince from Cinderella, attempting to find the true owner of a golden shoe dropped by a mysterious unknown woman who stole the Prince’s heart.
