In May 2022 Dubai will host the third edition of the "Classic Strings" Violin and Cello International Competition. The Competition for Violin was held from the 10th to the 23rd of May 2022, and the Competition for Cello was held from the 9th to the 18th of May 2022.

Following two highly successful incarnations of the festival, first in Riga in 2018 and again in Vienna in 2019, this third edition in 2022 will bring together some of the finest young string players from around the world in a celebration of virtuosity and friendly competition.
