Get ready to be swept away by the grandeur of classical music as the 13th edition of the InClassica International Music Festival takes centre stage at the illustrious Dubai Opera from February 1st to 15th, 2024. Organised by SAMIT Event Group, this annual extravaganza is set to transform Dubai Opera into a haven for music enthusiasts, offering more than two weeks of unparalleled classical music performances.
This year's InClassica promises an extraordinary musical odyssey, uniting musicians from all corners of the world in the heart of Dubai. As the World's Biggest Musical Observatory, the festival is dedicated to presenting the pinnacle of classical music, making it a must-attend event for connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
The festival lineup boasts a stellar cast of 17 internationally-acclaimed soloists, and the maestros will be joined by the celebrated Berlin Symphony Orchestra, and Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, who will be led by a lineup of top-tier conductors.
Embracing the festival's ethos of presenting the finest musical works, InClassica 2024 will showcase pieces ranging from the timeless compositions of Johannes Brahms and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to contemporary offerings by Composer-in-Residence Alexey Shor.
The halls of Dubai Opera will echo with the melodies of Ludwig van Beethoven, Camille Saint-Saëns, Max Bruch, Edward Elgar, Bedřich Smetana, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Felix Mendelssohn, Antonín Dvořák, and Gioachino Rossini, amongst many others.
2023
After two successful runs in 2021 and 2022, InClassica International Music Festival is back in Dubai starting the 12th of February 2023 until the 12th of March 2023! Throughout the 12th edition festival’s groundbreaking 1 month of consecutive evening concerts, InClassica 2023 will present an astonishing 50 world-renowned soloists, 5 leading orchestras and 15 celebrated conductors, with 20 performances taking place at Coca-Cola Arena and 3 solo performances taking place at various venues in Dubai.
The festival will present a diverse and engaging repertoire of well-known classic and contemporary masterpieces, including works by Verdi, Beethoven, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Strauss, Dvořák and Composer-in-Residence, Alexey Shor. is a New York-based composer whose works have been performed in the most prestigious classical music venues in the world.
In addition to the festival’s schedule of world-class performances SAMIT Event Group is proud to present the third edition of the “Classic Winds International Competition” taking place from 7th February until 1st March 2023. This event will welcome some of the finest young flautists, clarinettists and saxophonists in the world to Dubai, for a competition celebrating the best of artistic excellence and technical prowess.
2022
From 8th May to 2nd June 2022, the world-renowned InClassica International Music Festival returned to Dubai for a four-week celebration of world-class classical music performance.
Concerts will take place at the city’s world-famous Dubai Opera, and feature the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Symphony Orchestra and Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra. Joining these esteemed ensembles will be such notable maestros as Dmitry Yablonsky, Conrad van Alphen, Gianluca Marciano, Sergey Smbatyan, Marius Stravinsky, Gergely Madaras and Massimiliano Caldi. The festival will present a diverse and engaging repertoire of well-known classics and contemporary masterpieces, including works by Verdi, Beethoven, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Strauss, Dvořák and Composer-in-Residence, Alexey Shor.. Mr Shor is a New York-based composer whose works have been performed in the most prestigious classical music venues in the world, including the Kennedy Center (Washington DC), Berlin Philharmonic (Berlin), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Gasteig (Munich), Wigmore Hall (London) Carnegie Hall (New York) and Vienna’s Musikverein.
InClassica’s 26 days of consecutive evening concerts will feature a stellar cast of highly respected international soloists.
2021
From 15th August to 26th September 2021, the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) together with SAMIT Event Group presented the InClassica International Music Festival, taking place for the first time in Dubai.
Throughout the festival’s 43 days, InClassica will present an astonishing 42 world-renowned soloists, 8 leading orchestras and 12 celebrated conductors, with performances taking place at Dubai’s famous Coca-Cola Arena and Dubai Opera.
Orchestras set to appear include Russian National Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (Israel), Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz (Germany) and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (UK) will feature throughout the event’s diverse programme of concerts, with repertoire including concertos, symphonies, tone poems and other works. InClassica will also present numerous premieres of new music throughout its extensive and eclectic series of events.
