In response to a fierce demand for more opportunities to experience this magical tale, the organizational team behind this success story, SAMIT Event Group, has decided to take the production on tour, with the first stops coming on the 9th and 10th of February 2024 in the picturesque nation of Bahrain. Two days of the Ballet’s country premiere will be hosted within the framework of the annual Spring of Culture Festival in Bahrain National Theatre, built on the story of One Thousand and One Nights.
Bahrain audiences are in with the perfect chance to immerse themselves in this fantastical world, as the ballet presents its original narrative that draws on inspiration from a myriad of childhood literary classics, including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Aladdin, Puss in Boots, The Three Musketeers, and many more, with seminal characters from each of these tales appearing within the show itself.
Merging these influences together in an enthralling mix of intertextual and artistic fusion,
A Thousand Tales invites audiences to travel along on a magical adventure which features a series of stunning costumes and exquisite set decorations and is brought to life by a cast of Principal Dancers that has been purposefully hand-picked from among the leading ballet companies in the world, accompanied by a Corps de Ballet hailing from the highest echelons of the contemporary ballet industry.
